Celebrating the life of
Brittany Leigh Coleman
February 11, 1981 - November 17, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Brittany Leigh Coleman, who left this world too soon on November 17, 2025, at the age of 44. Brittany was born on February 11, 1981, in Savannah, Georgia, to Dennis Coleman and Tamara Long Coleman. She brought immeasurable joy and warmth to those around her and will forever be remembered for her vibrant spirit and loving nature.
Brittany grew up in a close-knit family and was a proud graduate of Bryan County High School. Her love for life was evident in everything she did; she had a passion for modeling, fishing, hiking, and spending time at the beach. Brittany never met a stranger; her outgoing personality and infectious smile made it easy for her to connect with anyone. She had an unwavering faith and loved sharing her love for Christ with those she encountered, spreading kindness and compassion wherever she went.
As a devoted mother, Brittany took great pride in her two sons, Nicholas James Taylor of Guyton, Georgia, and Reid Kendrick of Ellabell, Georgia. She cherished every moment spent with them, instilling in them the same values of love, faith, and resilience that she lived by.
Her legacy will carry on through her boys, who will forever hold her in their hearts.
In addition to her two sons, Brittany is survived by her father, Dennis Coleman; her brothers, Shannon Long and Jaimie Moore of Midway, Georgia; grandfather, Charles ( Pete ) Long of Mendon, NJ; grandmother, Yolanda Coleman of Savannah; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins who will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Tamara Long Coleman, and her grandparents, Nell Scott Long and Joel Coleman. Their love and guidance shaped Brittany into the incredible person she became.
Family gatherings were a cherished part of Brittany’s life. She was known for her love of cooking, delighting her family with many beloved dishes. The time spent together, sharing meals and laughter, held a special place in her heart, and those memories will forever be treasured by her loved ones.
Tragically, Brittany’s life was cut short due to an auto accident. While her time on this earth was brief, the impact she had on those who knew her was profound. Brittany leaves behind a legacy of love, joy, and faith that will live on in the hearts of everyone she touched.
A funeral service to celebrate Brittany’s life will be held on December 13, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Fox & Weeks Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah, Georgia. Friends and family are invited to attend and share their memories of Brittany, honoring the beautiful soul she was and the love she shared.
As we say goodbye to Brittany, let us remember her radiant spirit, her boundless love, and the joy she brought into our lives. She will be forever missed but never forgotten.
A candle has been lit!
Brittany, you were such a light in this world. Rest peacefully, my friend. You will be deeply missed.
